Now serving Texas and Florida

Daniela, bilingual OCD therapist at Serene Stillness

Meet Daniela

I’m a bilingual OCD specialist who helps adults break free from the intrusive thoughts, doubt, and shame that can take over their lives.

My clients are often high-achieving professionals and post-graduate students who appear outwardly put-together while privately feeling overwhelmed by thoughts they’re afraid to say out loud.

You may be navigating:

Contamination fears

Harm OCD

Checking OCD

Relationship OCD (ROCD)

Religious OCD (Scrupulosity)

Sexual OCD

Life With OCD

When OCD Looks Fine on the Outside

You’re showing up, performing, and doing what’s expected, but inside, you’re fighting a mental battle no one else can see.

“One intrusive thought hits, and suddenly you’re spiraling: What if this means something about me?”

You replay it, analyze every angle, and search for certainty that you’re not dangerous, immoral, or “sick.”

You may find yourself:

  • Asking your partner, family, or friends for reassurance

  • Googling or mentally reviewing what happened

  • Avoiding people, places, or situations that trigger OCD

  • Questioning your relationships or your own intentions

  • Feeling ashamed of thoughts you’re afraid to say out loud

  • Looking successful on the outside while feeling exhausted inside

You don’t have to keep living this way

I help high-achieving adults and graduate students break free from OCD using ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and other evidence-based approaches.

Together, we’ll work to:

  • Break the OCD cycle

  • Face fears without relying on reassurance or avoidance

  • Learn to tolerate uncertainty

  • Change your relationship with intrusive thoughts

  • Rebuild trust in yourself

  • Get back to the relationships, work, school, and experiences that matter to you

Therapy with me is collaborative, structured, and deeply human. You won’t be judged for your thoughts. Instead, we’ll create a space where you can finally talk about the things you’ve been holding in—and learn that having an intrusive thought doesn’t define who you are.

Recover From OCD

You may appear successful, capable, and put together on the outside, while privately struggling with intrusive thoughts, constant doubt, or the pressure to get everything right.

OCD can make it difficult to trust yourself, tolerate uncertainty, or feel satisfied even when things seem to be going well.

Replaying conversations or questioning decisions

Seeking reassurance or repeatedly checking things

Struggling with perfectionism and fear of making mistakes

Feeling exhausted by overthinking and mental compulsions

Balancing high expectations with your mental health
